Major Responsibilities:
- Perform System administrator duties for the CMDB System.
- Support the Configuration Management Team as required.
- Ensure technical documentation remains current.
- Implement solutions that meet the business requirements for the CMDB System.
- Assist in supporting Configuration Management Processes required to ensure data quality/data completeness of the CMDB.
Skills and Knowledge required but not essential:
- Performed any role working as a System administrator for a COTS product such as (Elastic, Splunk, IBM Omnibus, Micro Focus Service Manager, Micro Focus uCMDB, ServiceNow etc.)
- Have experience in working with Service Management Tools including (Micro Focus Service Manager, Micro Focus uCMDB, ServiceNow etc.)
- Have experience in working with Event Management tools such as (Elastic, Splunk, IBM Omnibus etc.)
- Have some programming/scripting experience where databases, API connection, Python etc. has been used.
- Have worked in an environment where CMDB Discovery and monitoring systems are used and understand how these system work and why they are required in a large organisation.
- Have knowledge/training in ITSM, ITIL v3 or ITIL v4.
- Have worked in a Change Management, Configuration Management, Problem Management or similar role.
Location: Canberra
Security Requirements: Due to the nature of the work required, we require a minimum NV1 Security Clearance.
