In response to the increasing demand for enhanced cyber security resilience, they are growing the team to strengthen their security governance and improve their ability to detect and respond to cyber incidents in an evolving threat landscape.
About the role
You will be leading and mentoring a small team of Cyber GRC professionals as part of the cyber security and resilience capability. You will be supporting the ICT risk identification, assessment and management in a crucial role to improve the ICT security risk profile across the department.
There are two newly created roles which will be working with various internal and external stakeholders to:
- Lead and conduct risk assessments against ISM, PSPF and ISO frameworks
- Develop IT security standards, policies, procedures and controls
- Develop IT security compliance frameworks
- Lead and manage cyber security resilience projects
- Develop and manage a new cyber security education program for the department as well as external providers
- Growing team, with support and funding to continue on the security transformation journey
- Great opportunity to lead projects and teams, and support new initiatives helping the Australian community
- Greenfield areas in the cyber resilience capability where initiative is supported and encouraged
