What You'll Be Doing

* Design, build, deploy, and support secure cloud infrastructure using modern AWS services

* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

* Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Artifactory, Jira, and DevOps best practices

* Develop automation solutions and improve deployment processes across cloud environments

* Collaborate with software engineers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions

* Support containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes

* Contribute to technical leadership within Agile delivery teams while mentoring others and promoting engineering best practice

* Help shape the future of cloud engineering through continuous improvement and innovation

What We're Looking For

* Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS cloud environments

* Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Artifactory, Jira, or similar DevOps toolsets

* Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

* Strong understanding of Git version control and Agile software delivery practices

* Development experience in Python, JavaScript, Golang, or similar languages

* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies

* Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for automation and continuous improvement

Highly Desirable

* Experience working across both AWS and Azure cloud environments

* Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault or enterprise secrets management

* Experience implementing intelligent CI/CD automation, including AI-assisted development or automated remediation capabilities

Eligibility Requirements

* Negative vetting 1 Clearance or higher (Mandatory)

* Canberra-based role
