About the role

Seeking a Project Officer to support the Infrastructure Planning team and provide a wide range of experience, knowledge and skills, including, but not limited to:

  • Integrate and maintain relevant business, administrative, corporate systems and processes for the program
  • Provide support to the program manager to manage correspondence, emails, approvals and diary management as required
  • Coordinate the completion of administrative tasks within the program including monitoring and processing correspondence, answering telephone calls, reviewing action item registers and maintaining program filing systems
  • Produce reports, letters and other written material
  • Manage competing priorities and tasks from multiple sources
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues
  • Work cooperatively and demonstrate a continuous improvement and growth mind-set by contributing and testing ideas for improving work practices, collaborating with internal and external business areas, to achieve objectives and work outcomes
  • Perform other tasks as required

Skills & Experience
Successful individuals will demonstrate a range of experience across general coordination and administrative functions, including:

  • 5+ years full project officer experience
  • Worked with IT project managers to ensure delivery of work items
  • Well developed self organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships
  • Experience with visualisations and process mapping tools like power point and vision etc
  • Good understanding and hands on experience on MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, JIRA and Confluence
  • Have the ability to obtain a Baseline Clearance
