My client is one of the Melbourne's most respected companies with offices all over the world, you will be based at their great offices in Melbourne CBD. Their focused IT delivery team is constantly working on interesting projects to continually improve their international IT services.
The Opportunity:
My client is looking for a Project Manager with solid experience working with internal teams and external providers migrating 100s of international networking sites.
The program is migrating MPLS to SDWAN and although this exact experience is not essential a strong grasp of these technologies and demonstrable project management in similar projects will be required.
This is a challenging and interesting program with a great team to work alongside
Initial WFH during lockdown after mostly office based
Some out of hours work to support cut overs etc but mostly office hours
Desired experience and responsibilities
- Site Migrations
- Internal and External teams and vendors to execute site migrations from MPLS to SDWAN
- Document Reviews
- Review and approval of Site Low Level Design,
- Site Migration Run Sheet
- Change Requests
- Resourcing
- Site based resources to support the migration
- Conduct UAT pre and post site migration
- Ensure site migrations are appropriately resourced
- Reporting
- Weekly and monthly status reporting,
- Schedule reporting S curve.
- Configuration Management
- Verify and update CMDB / Site details.
- Manage site baseline details.
