We are seeking experienced Business Analysis professionals to support a high-profile, classified program delivering critical national capability.
This is a rare opportunity to work in a Top Secret environment, contributing to complex ICT solutions that integrate and enhance existing systems using a reuse - buy - build approach. You'll play a key role in shaping outcomes where security, integration, and operational delivery intersect.
The Opportunity
You will join a collaborative program team working across business, technical, and security stakeholders to deliver end-to-end capability in a highly regulated environment.
We are hiring across:
- Business Analysts (Process & Systems)
- Senior Business Systems Analyst (SFIA Level 5 - Team Lead)
What You'll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities (All Roles):
- Elicit and document business and system requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis
- Develop artefacts including user stories, process models, and interface designs
- Analyse current systems and processes to inform future-state capability
- Ensure traceability between requirements, existing capability, and delivered outcomes
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and integration challenges
Senior Role (Team Lead):
- Lead the Business Analysis function across a complex program
- Guide reuse, buy, build decision-making for solution design
- Mentor and coordinate a team of Business Analysts
- Provide strategic analysis advice to Program leadership
- Assure quality and consistency across all BA deliverables
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst in complex ICT or digital programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in secure, regulated, or government environments
- Ability to analyse existing systems and processes to inform future solutions
- Understanding of integrated environments (cloud/on-prem) and security considerations
For Senior (SFIA 5):
- Demonstrated experience leading BA teams in complex delivery environments
- Ability to shape solutions across reuse, COTS, and bespoke builds
- Strong grasp of integration, data, infrastructure, or security concepts
Mandatory Requirements
- Australian Citizenship
- Current TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) Clearance
