The Network are seeking a Cyber Security Incident Responder to work within a Federal Government environment.
12 months + 2 x 12 month extensions
Open to ACT (preferred), NSW, VIC & QLD
As a Cyber Security Incident Responder, you will investigate and respond to cyber security incidents end-to-end, perform hands-on technical analysis, and support the ongoing improvement of cyber security incident response capabilities. You will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, drive incident communications, facilitate recovery activities, and contribute to process optimisation and alert tuning.
Who are we looking for:
Must have:
- Minimum 3+ years' hands-on experience in a cyber security incident response role.
- Strong technical expertise using Microsoft security tools related to incident response.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical findings to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain or hold AGSVA NV1 clearance.
Desired: - GIAC certifications such as GCIH or GCFA.
- Microsoft security certifications.
- Experience developing and improving cyber security incident management processes and procedures.
- Experience mentoring and upskilling team members.
