About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Systems Engineer to join a high performing technology team delivering modern workplace, cloud, and infrastructure solutions across a diverse customer environment.
This role will focus heavily on Microsoft workplace technologies, cloud infrastructure, endpoint management, and escalated engineering support within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.
You will act as a senior escalation point for technical issues while also contributing to project delivery, infrastructure improvements, and customer solution design. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple customer environments and taking ownership of complex technical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a senior escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 Engineers
- Deliver and support Microsoft workplace and infrastructure solutions across customer environments
* Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 environments
* Manage endpoint deployment, configuration, compliance, and lifecycle management using Microsoft Intune
* Support Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure environments
* Administer and support Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Defender technologies
* Manage Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services
* Support and troubleshoot virtualisation platforms including VMware vSphere and Hyper V
* Perform infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and optimisation projects
* Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and process improvement initiatives
* Work closely with internal teams and customers to deliver strong technical outcomes
* Participate in project planning, technical workshops, and solution implementation activities
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is essential
* Strong Level 3 infrastructure and systems engineering experience
* Strong experience across Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, and Intune
* Experience supporting Azure and hybrid cloud environments
* Strong Windows Server administration experience
* Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity services
* Strong experience with endpoint management and modern workplace technologies
* Experience supporting VMware or Hyper V virtualisation platforms
* Solid understanding of networking concepts including switching, routing, firewalls, and VPN technologies
