Job Description
My client is a global leader in the lead generation space, focused on the software market and due to their continued success on an international scale, they are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their Sydney team. This is a full cycle sales role so applicants will need to have previous closing experience (any industry considered)
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing new prospects and expanding existing accounts by researching prospective organisations to identify the right customer stakeholders to sell to
- Using consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offering unique perspectives on their business
- Offering customers insights and perspectives on needs that are fulfilled by the businesses solutions
- Using competitive analysis to educate customers on the value of our solutions
- Continuously pursuing quota goals by working directly with the customer during the negotiation
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients, including executive-level stakeholders
- Leveraging existing industry partnerships to grow business presence in the region
- Working with internal marketing teams to lead regional campaigns, both in person and remotely
Experience required
- Previous experience selling SaaS or selling into SaaS business' desired but not necessary
- 2+ years of closing experience
- Strong sense of initiative and relationship building
- High energy and motivation to build relationships with prospective clients
- Industry awareness, with the ability to identify market trends, threats, and opportunities
