Job Description

My client is a global leader in the lead generation space, focused on the software market and due to their continued success on an international scale, they are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their Sydney team. This is a full cycle sales role so applicants will need to have previous closing experience (any industry considered)

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new prospects and expanding existing accounts by researching prospective organisations to identify the right customer stakeholders to sell to
  • Using consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offering unique perspectives on their business
  • Offering customers insights and perspectives on needs that are fulfilled by the businesses solutions
  • Using competitive analysis to educate customers on the value of our solutions
  • Continuously pursuing quota goals by working directly with the customer during the negotiation
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients, including executive-level stakeholders
  • Leveraging existing industry partnerships to grow business presence in the region
  • Working with internal marketing teams to lead regional campaigns, both in person and remotely

Experience required

  • Previous experience selling SaaS or selling into SaaS business' desired but not necessary
  • 2+ years of closing experience
  • Strong sense of initiative and relationship building
  • High energy and motivation to build relationships with prospective clients
  • Industry awareness, with the ability to identify market trends, threats, and opportunities
