About Guy

​Guy has spent his recruitment career building strong relationships across Canberra's technology market, partnering with government agencies, technology companies, and consultancies to recruit across infrastructure, cloud, cyber security, networking, software engineering, and project services. Joining The Network gave him the opportunity to continue building those relationships while supporting an even broader range of clients and candidates across Australia's technology sector.

Guy holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam, a Master of Arts in History and Politics from Utrecht University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Communications from the University of Canberra. His focus is on the Defence consulting and technology sector, where he specialises in connecting organisations with high-performing IT sales professionals who can build trusted relationships and translate complex solutions into commercial outcomes.

For Guy, recruitment is all about people, understanding what motivates someone, where they want to take their career, and how to connect them with opportunities that genuinely fit. He takes a consultative approach, focused on honesty, communication, and trust, taking the time to understand both the technical requirements of a role and the personal motivations behind a candidate's next move.

English by birth, Guy spent six years living in the Netherlands while studying before building his recruitment career in Canberra, where he's developed a strong appreciation for its technology market across government, defence, and the private sector.
